More Than Mechanics: Our Commitment to Care

Our Story

The Miles That Built Us & The Miles to Come

Rob’e Mans began in 1983, when childhood friends Eddie Cleveland and Angelo Roberson turned their passion for cars into a profession. Starting with Honda vehicles, and later Acura, they built a reputation for honesty, craftsmanship, and care.

When Angelo retired, Eddie carried the torch for decades. By 2012, he was looking for the right person to take Rob’e Mans into the future. That’s when Kenny Krackenberger walked through the door.

At the time, Kenny was a military veteran, working nights at FedEx, fresh out of UAB, and supporting his wife and newborn. He applied for a part-time job as a shuttle driver, but Eddie saw something more.

Kenny accepted the job. Within days, he was behind the counter as a service advisor. From there, he learned every part of the business—advertising, operations, customer care, you name it. By 2019, Eddie knew the business was in good hands, and Kenny became the new owner.

Built on People, Driven by Vision

Ask Kenny, and he’ll tell you—this business isn’t about him. It’s about the people.

“I’m just the conductor. Our team is the band, and I just put the right people in the right place at the right time.”

That people-first mindset is why Rob’e Mans attracts top technicians, invests in cutting-edge tools, and never compromises on quality.

For over 40 years, customers knew Eddie. Today, they know Kenny and the team that carries forward the same values, all while pushing Rob’e Mans into the next generation of automotive care.
